Growth Factor Technology

Sometimes I think we take our skin for granted. I know that as I was growing up or even in my younger years in life, I surely did not know much about my skin, let alone growth factors. I lived in a beach town full of sand, sun and the elements of fun! Of course back then I did not have that easy access to information about growth factors that we have today and like most young men I thought I would have bullet proof skin and live forever!
At that time most information came from an encyclopedia set, had to be researched at the library or maybe you caught the news on one of the five or six channels you received on your TV. As with the evolution of the encyclopedia to an online world, technology has a tendency to be on the cutting edge more so today, than it has ever been in the past. Whether it is skin care technology and the use of human growth factors in our skin care serums or the technology behind making a television picture brighter and better, technology is evolving and continuing on whether we like or not.
For instance it used to be thought of desirable to rub baby oil on your skin and sit out in the sun for hours on end. Technology and developments in the medical field now tell us that this is probably not the best thing to do for our skin. We now look for the solutions to fix the problems we may have unknowingly created at a younger age. We only use to hear about UVB Radiation from the sun and that is the radiation that causes our sunburns and skin irritations. This has typically what we have strived to protect ourselves from by using sun care creams. What we have learned through technological advancements is that UVA rays account for up to 95% of the radiation from the sun and that they penetrate the skin at a deeper level possibly causing greater long term issues with our skin than we thought. This is a major factor in the causing the skin to age and wrinkle in a premature manner. It is also being linked to other more serious skin issues. So we try to protect ourselves from one and maybe we don’t really understand the other issue.
Much like every other thing in this world technology has evolved and allowed us to create our state of the art, technologically advanced J bio Serums that contain ICG9 Triplex. The J Bio Proprietary ICG 9 Triplex is a specific and specialized combination of human growth factors to help your developed skin issues as you age. J Bio has used state of the art technology to help fight and combat the skin issues commonly linked to undesirable aging signs. Now many of you might be asking yourself what is a growth factor?
According to Dorland’s Medical Dictionary, a growth factor typically acts as signaling molecules between cells. Examples are cytokines and hormones that bind to specific receptors on the surface of their target cells. They often promote cell differentiation and maturation, which varies between growth factor sets. For example a fibroblast growth factor and a vascular endothelial growth factor might stimulate blood vessel differentiation (angiogenesis).
Some growth factor sets have also been shown to help with, cellular proliferation & differentiation, collagen and elastin production, create homeostasis in the cell community…..optimum conditions for healthy cells, minimize scarring, reduce inflammation and help increase the production of Hyaluronan (also called hyaluronic acid)
Now that we have a basic technical understanding of what a growth factor is, the question becomes how are they beneficial to your aging skin? The use and combination of specific and specialized set of growth factor combination, such as those found in J Bio Serums proprietary ICG 9 Triplex have been shown to help with:
- UV over exposure (prior skin damage)

- The communication between cells are involved in the cell’s growth, replication and regeneration
- Increase the number of fibroblasts (cells that produce collagen) and keratinocytes (top layer of skin)
- Help to Stimulate the skin’s own renewal mechanism
- Increase hydration
- Promote elimination of toxins
